Choosing the right wedding officiant is one of the most important decisions you’ll make during the wedding planning process. Not really, but it makes me sound very important but this is your day. Most likely, you haven’t even thought about the perfect wedding officiant. I will say this, the way your ceremony feels will be something you and your families will remember forever. I would never deliver a generic “cookie cutter” script.
CONSULTATION
It all starts with a quick consultation to figure out who you are and what you are looking to accomplish on your big day. We will go over the ceremony and talk scheduling. This is a time to get to know each other to make sure we fit and to make sure the schedules line up.
REHEARSAL/PLANNING
Planning is key but, remember, there is no right way or wrong way to do your wedding…only your way. My goal as your officiant is to provide the amount of guidance you want in creating your ceremony. Together, we can create your wedding ceremony to be short and simple or more detailed, integrating personalized vows, scripture, blessings/prayers, readings/poems, unity ceremonies/cultural traditions, and other specific preferences you desire.
